cooperation of the 5 men who were sentenced to death for their alleged
roles in the 1993 uprising that rocked the maximum-security prison
in Lucasville, Ohio.
Rethinking Ohio's Death Penalty
YOUNGSTOWN
- About 50 opponents of the death penalty gathered outside the Ohio
State Penitentiary to send a message. "We have a new governor,"
said Susan Schnur, 49, of Cleveland. "We're hoping this is

campaign to urge Governor Strickland to stop executions.
